MACH 2 Ignited by Daring Pleasure
Some of our friends were still around at the end of a long weekend, helping to celebrate MACH 2 Ignited by Daring Pleasure.
Sometimes, actually most of the time, I wonder why I'm so blessed. So lucky to have so many great friends. So lucky to have such a wonderful fur baby. So lucky to have a chance to play this game with my girl. So lucky to have my wife who persuaded me to get a dog and who continuously pushes me to train. So lucky to have a beautiful daughter, I love more then word can express.
It has always been in my nature to trust and believe. These are to of the most important words I can think of. I have found out believing in your team and trusting your partner can get you a long way in agility.
From that very first day I held Viper in my arms, I believed we could be great together. From the first day of training to this very moment I have trusted her to do her job. Does Viper do everything right? Heck no. But does she do everything as good as she can at a particular moment? You bet.
She has taught me so much about myself and agility. Missing a contact, knocking a bar, taking an off-course jump is not much different than bumping my head against an open cabinet door. It hurts, I think of how stupid I am, go get a Bandaid and move on, wondering how I could have repeatedly hit my head on that same door.
So as Viper and I start on MACH 3, I will always remind myself that Viper has her cabinet doors. I will continue to believe and trust her through all our agility travels. We will reach for the stars and if we fall a little short, it's ok because we have each other.
Thanks so much to all of you who have watched us along this journey. Your smiles and compliments mean more then any number of Q's. Thank you for loving my little girl. And Scott Klar you're the best!
